1. Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small value that a website can ask your browser to store and return with later requests. Browser localStorage is a different technology: it stores values for a particular site in your browser and is not automatically attached to every request. Privacy rules can apply to both technologies, so this policy covers cookies and local storage together.
The supplied Showmeadowpckbrd website does not set HTTP cookies in its application code. It uses one localStorage record to remember your privacy preferences across page visits. There are no analytics scripts, advertising pixels, embedded maps or externally hosted fonts. The homepage photographs are loaded from images.unsplash.com; the contact-page schematic remains included directly in the website.
Photographs load as page content independently of the optional-category switches. These image requests disclose your IP address and ordinary request information to the image delivery service. Each photograph uses a no-referrer policy to omit the referring page URL. External response headers, caching and any provider-side storage are controlled by the image service, not these files. See the privacy policy for more information.
2. Storage inventory
The table describes the current application implementation, not a list of hypothetical tracking products. Optional categories remain visible in the preference panel so you can record a choice, but enabling them does not install a tool or transmit analytics events. Remote photograph delivery is described separately above and is not switched on or off by those preferences.
| Category | Name / provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | showmeadowpckbrd.consent.v1First-party localStorage | Stores choice, optional-category flags, policy version and timestamp. No contact-form values. | No automatic expiry; until cleared, replaced or invalidated by a policy update. |
| Analytics | None installed | No audience measurement, session recording or browsing-event collection. | Not applicable. |
| Functional | None installed beyond essential preference storage | No optional embedded services or persistent personalisation. | Not applicable. |
A live hosting platform or external image service may introduce infrastructure behaviour not present in these files. The operator must audit its actual deployment, including image responses, and update this inventory if additional storage is identified or another third-party service is added.
3. Your choices
“Accept All” records both optional categories as accepted. “Reject Non-Essential” records both as rejected. “Preferences” opens individual controls, with essential preference storage always enabled. Rejecting optional categories does not reduce access to any guide, navigation link or contact information. No optional scripts run while you are deciding.
You can reopen the panel using the Cookie preferences button in every footer. Saving a new choice replaces the previous record. If your browser blocks storage, the site remains usable, but the banner may return on another page or visit. Preferences are specific to this browser and site origin; they are not synchronised between devices, browser profiles, HTTP and HTTPS, or different subdomains.
4. Browser opt-out and deletion
To remove the stored record, clear site data for showmeadowpckbrd.surf in your browser. In Chrome, look under Settings, Privacy and security, and site data or site settings. In Firefox, use Settings, Privacy & Security, Cookies and Site Data, then Manage Data. In Safari on macOS, use Settings, Privacy, Manage Website Data. In Edge, search Settings for cookies and site data, then review the stored data for this domain.
Menu wording varies by version and operating system. Browser settings search is often the quickest route. Clear site storage rather than only cached images: deleting the cache alone may leave localStorage intact. Private browsing generally uses separate storage and may remove it when the private session ends. Blocking third-party cookies alone does not necessarily remove this first-party preference record.
5. Signals, changes and questions
The current site has no sale, sharing for behavioural advertising or analytics activity for an opt-out signal to stop. It does not claim a dedicated Global Privacy Control integration. Any future operator introducing relevant processing must assess signal-handling and consent requirements before deployment, update this policy and obtain renewed consent where required.
Read the privacy policy for personal-data rights and deployment limitations. Cookie questions may be addressed to [email protected]. As with the company details in the footer, this is an illustrative demonstration contact and must be made operational before a live service relies on it.
